The Golden Triangle in India is a popular tourist circuit that connects Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. It’s named for the golden history and cultural heritage of these three cities, which offer a glimpse into India’s rich past through their impressive forts, palaces, temples, and historical monuments.

India’s Golden Triangle is a tourist circuit which connects the national capital Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. The Golden Triangle is so called because of the triangular shape formed by the locations of New Delhi, Agra and Rajasthan on a map. The trips usually start in Delhi moving south to the site of Taj Mahal at Agra, then west, to the desert landscapes of Rajasthan.

Day 01 : Arrive Delhi International airport

Arrive Delhi International airport, upon arrival you will be met and transferred to hotel. (Overnight at hotel).

Day 02 : Delhi Sightseeing + Drive to Agra

Breakfast at hotel. Later proceed to visit rest of the sightseeing of Delhi, The Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar. Drive along the ceremonial avenue – Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House and the President’s Residence, Jama Masjid, and Lotus Temple. Afternoon drive to Agra and check-in to hotel. (Overnight at hotel).

Day 03 : Taj & Fort Visit + Drive to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri

Breakfast at hotel; later proceed to visit magnificent Taj Mahal – one of the Seven Wonders of the World surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men labored for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan’s beloved wife. Also visit the Agra Fort – the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna. Afternoon drive to Jaipur (250 Kms.) En route visit Fatehpur Sikri – built by the Mughal Emperor, Akbar in honor of Saint Salim Chisti, who foretold the birth of 3 sons to Emperor Akbar, an example of robust stability combined with originality. Each important edifice here represents a type by itself. After visit continue drive to Jaipur and check-in to hotel. (Overnight at hotel).

Day 04 : Drive Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri + City Tour + Chokhi Dhani

Early morning after breakfast drive to Jaipur (240 Kms.) en route visit Fatehpur Sikri – built by the Mughal Emperor, Akbar in honor of Saint Salim Chisti, who foretold the birth of 3 sons to Emperor Akbar, an example of robust stability combined with originality. Each important edifice here represents a type by itself.

After visit continue drive to reach Jaipur by the afternoon hour and check into hotel and relax.

0630 PM: Evening you can take an Optional visit

to Chokhi Dhani – An ethnic village resort where

you could enjoy the Delicious Rajasthani Food with Folk Music and Dance. (Overnight at hotel).

Day 05 : Amber + Jaipur City Tour

Breakfast at hotel. At approximate 0800 AM: Take an excursion to Amber Fort, situated outside the walled city, is perhaps the most beautiful example of Rajputforts. You can have the unique experience of riding on elephant back to the top of the hill on which the fort is situated.

1200 Noon: Proceed to enjoy the City Tour of Jaipur, including City Palace- in the heart of Jaipur known

for its blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture. Another monument near the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, is the largest of the five astronomical observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh-I, the founder ruler of Jaipur. Stop at Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds, a seven storied facade and one of the most picturesque landmarks constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions without being seen. (Overnight at hotel).

Day 06 : Drive Jaipur to Delhi & Drop

Breakfast at hotel, later drive to Delhi and drop at International Airport.
